Officers from the Lewiston Police Department discuss the cause of a rollover accident on the 600 block of Fifth Street in Lewiston. A driver was nowhere to be found, but the Honda Accord that landed on its top closed one block of Normal Hill for a short time Monday evening. Lewiston police believe the car was traveling south on the street when it apparently collided with a parked Nissan Pathfinder and rolled. Witnesses told police they saw one person, described as a white woman about 5 feet 7 inches tall with blond hair and a slender build, leave the accident and walk west on Sixth Avenue. Hazard lights on the Honda were blinking after the 5 p.m. accident until it could be towed from the scene. A broken taillight was the only damage reported to the Nissan. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
