Christopher Geoffrey Breed was born Feb. 24, 1987, at Moscow's Gritman Medical Center to Jeff and Carol Breed. Chris loved and is loved by his family that includes his older sister, Danielle, and his younger sisters, Anna and Maris. After graduating from Montrose Academy in 2005 and before attending Northwest Lineman College in 2010, Chris worked for Master's Touch Woodworking and then went on to do commercial fishing out of Kodiak, Alaska. He fished salmon for the summer run and then lived and worked on the Sylvia Star, catching cod, crab and the occasional pet octopus. Chris saved up his fishing money and headed back to Idaho to attend Northwest Lineman's College in Meridian. After graduating, Chris worked as a lineman throughout the Midwest before landing his dream job as an aerial lineman working for Haverfield Aviation. Chris' job at Haverfield was bad-ass and he and his family were proud of the work that he was doing. Although Chris' life came to an end Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, in a horrible work accident, he was a strong, brave, protective man to the very last second of his life - caring first for the safety and well-being of those around him.

Chris is remembered by his many friends and co-workers as being upbeat, funny, genuine, tender, kind and a practical joker. His absence leaves a void in many lives from one coast to the other, but we find comfort in knowing he now sees everything in perfect clarity. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
