Emma Kay Carr, infant daughter of Stephen and Molly Carr, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.
A viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, with a service at 1 p.m., at Riverside Community Church in Eagle River. Burial services will be at 2 p.m. at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.
Her family wrote that precious and beautiful Emma's uncontrollable smiles, coos and carefree movements signified a baby wrapped in peace, love and gentleness. A child of God, Emma will be showered with angels' kisses and remain in her father's house until she is once again reunited with her loving family. We cannot wait to see Emma again. Our thoughts are always with her.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet water, he restores my soul."
Emma Kay Carr is survived by her mother and father, Molly and Stephen Carr; brother Jake of Eagle River; sister Katie Carr of Alabama; and grandparents Jim and Peggy Baker of Pomeroy and Pat and Kay Carr of Pennsylvania. She will forever be written in the memories and hearts of all she touched.
