Gladys Lucille (Whyte) Branson

In 1952, Albert R. Jacura and she were married and moved to Spokane the following year. A son, David Mark Jacura, was born in 1954. The family moved to Lewiston in 1955, where their daughter, Kymme Kathleen Jacura, was born in 1956. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1969.

Gladys married Dr. Frank Hyke in 1972. They enjoyed traveling extensively. Dr. Hyke passed away in 1992. In 1995 “Glady” was embraced with love by the Branson family. Dale R. Branson and she were married nearly 20 years. They resided in Chandler, Ariz., in the winters and spent summers in Lewiston. Dale passed away in 2015.

Throughout her life, Gladys enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf, a good party and a great Scotch. She is survived by her two children, Mark Jacura (Elsa) in Las Vegas and Kymme MacKelvie (Steve) from Bend, Ore., three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Glady lived, loved and laughed more than most only envy.

The family will hold a private memorial in honor of her wishes.
