Jacquelyn R. Hubbard, 82, Lewiston

Jacquelyn Ruth Hubbard was born Jan. 31, 1926, at St. Cloud, Minn., to Oscar and Ruth Erickson. She passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Life Care Center of Lewiston, from complications after a three-year battle with cancer.

Jackie Erickson married Jack William Hubbard on March 6, 1953, in Bemidji, Minn. They were married 46 years.

Mum loved working. She was employed by Bank of Idaho in the Lewiston Orchards from 1964 to 1974, then went to work for Idaho Bank and Trust until she retired. Then she really enjoyed working at home in her gardens and taking care of her grandchildren.

Jack Hubbard passed away in 1999, so Mum sold the house to build a new one with a smaller garden. She never remarried.

The rosary will be recited in Jackie's honor at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lewiston, with the funeral following on Monday with celebration of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus, with Father Sean Caulfield. A gathering will follow at the Fellowship Hall at the church.

Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home of Lewiston is in charge of arrangements.

Donations can be made to the Shriners' Kids Center in Spokane.
