John K. Hawk, 50, Lewiston

John Keith Hawk was born Jan. 5, 1959, to Delbert and Dorthy Hawk, in Lewiston. He attended Lewiston schools.

John died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston, from liver failure.

He entered the Army in 1977 and served three years. John received his degree in appliance repair from Lewis-Clark State College and was on the dean's list.

He married Ginger Bergamo on Jan. 7, 1984. The marriage later ended in divorce.

He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Jesse, taking long walks along the river.

He was preceded in death by his mother and nephews JW Scott and Donald Severson.

He is survived by his father; sisters Sandra Scott, Karen Stapp and Judy Black, all of Lewiston, and Ellen Hawk of Clarkston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Tri-State Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at New Life Apostolic Church, 1010 21st Ave., Lewiston.
