Lane Jeffrey Ailor passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born April 30, 1969, in Pullman, to JoAnn (Nutterville) Ailor and Robert Ronald Ailor. He graduated from Pullman High School in 1987, and from Spokane Community College in 1990, with an associate of arts degree in architecture.
Lane was descended from Whitman County Pioneer Jacob Fulton Ailor, who moved to Whitman County more than 120 years ago and farmed in the Johnson area until his death. Lane worked as a framer and did side projects for family and friends.
His hobbies included woodworking, using his drafting skills to draw dream houses, cabins, and decks and putting together or building eBikes. He enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Lake Chatcolat and on the St. Joe River, as well as camping, riding his eBike and motorcycles.
Lane is survived by his mother, JoAnn Ailor of Pullman; his sister Kim Ailor of Spokane; and many relatives and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Bob Ailor.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, Corbeill Funeral Home, 905 S. Grand Ave., Pullman, and a celebration of life will follow immediately at Zeppoz, 780 Bishop Blvd., Pullman.
