He spent much of his retirement years at the family cabin on Freeman Creek with his two favorite canine companions, Abby and Sammie. Lynn loved reading Stephen King in his "personal library" at home.

Lynn always loved the stars and counting satellites in the sky with his kids and grandchildren and he would always make a game out of it, announcing "$1 for the first satellite!" Lynn also loved his Fox News.
