Sharon J. Woodford of Clarkston died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Avalon Progressive Care in Clarkston of cancer. She was 70.

Sharon was born March 21, 1943, to Kyle and Mary (Slusherenco) Worth in Portland, Ore. She attended Berney Grade school through the eighth grade and graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1961. She married Frank Fuhrer in 1961 at Seattle; they later divorced. She married Lewis Paluck in 1970; this marriage also ended in divorce. She married Richard Woodford in 1985 in Coeur d'Alene; he survives at the family home in Clarkston. She worked as a secretary for Associated Grocers in Yakima from 1968 to 1986.

Sharon loved to cook, go to yard sales, traveling to Reno and going to the Clearwater River Casino. She loved animals, especially horses. She fed horses at our back fence with carrots from the garden and apples from Milton-Freewater, Ore.

She is survived by her mother Mary Worth of Walla Walla; sons Kevin Fuhrer of Maple Valley, Wash., and Darin Fuhrer of Fall City, Wash; husband Richard Woodford of Clarkston; stepson Ken Woodford of Yakima; stepdaughters Robin Baker of Franklin, Texas, and Leslie Hoffman of Kennewick; and grandson Gibson Fuhrer of Fall City.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kyle Worth, ex-husband Louis Paluck; and grandmother Anna Slusherenco.

A memorial will be held in the spring of 2014 in Walla Walla.
