Vicki Lynn Walser passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, in Moscow, at the age of 70, due to ovarian cancer.

Vicki was born Oct. 9, 1953, to Richard and Joyce Newman in Great Falls, Mont. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1972. In 1977, she graduated from Washington State University with a degree in music education, and married Richard Walser that December.

Vicki loved being a wife and mom and helping out with many things around the farm, including driving truck during harvest. She enjoyed baking and sharing delicious treats with friends and family. She was a tireless helper to all who knew her and had great joy in serving others.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Jennifer (David) Williams; mother, Joyce Newman; brother Daniel (Jeannette) Newman and brother David Newman. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Richard Newman, and her brother, Daryl Newman.

A memorial service will be held sometime later this summer.
