Just knock it off
To the people who live in Foster Park and are nice, quiet and do not abuse our neighborhood, thank you. To the people who shriek, bellow, swear and blast music so loudly that it upsets others, please knock it off.
To those who feel that they are the God-given arbiters of what is good and right, and thus feel comfortable harassing everyone day and night with frivolous police calls about someone throwing a ball for her puppy, roaring around and around the block, with sharp revving of engines, blaring horns and dirty looks: Please, you knock it off, too.
If our neighborhood has to pay the price for the entire city’s peace, maybe we could have some speed bumps, security television in the park and more frequent patrols for serious problems.
