Though I share my church's (Catholic) opinion of Plan B, I concur with T.H. that a pharmacist who works for an employer that sells it must do so or go somewhere else [editorial, April 2]. That, however, begs some other questions: Does the government have the right to force a pharmacy to sell Plan B? Can an employee refuse public service based on his or her religion? Can a checker at a grocery store refuse to handle pork? Can a taxi driver refuse fares? As they too are issues in the news, I am interested to know what T.H. thinks. I would answer no to all three.
