Steady flows expected below Hells Canyon Dam

OXBOW, Ore. - Flows below Hells Canyon Dam this weekend are likely to be equal to the three-day average of flows into Browlee Reservoir, or 8,000 to 8,5000 cubic feet per second, according to news release from Idaho Power Co.

Boaters in Hells Canyon can expect the flows to persist through much of the day but they could increase slightly to meet power demand, according to the news release. Flow patterns could change early next week as higher temperatures cause higher electrical demand.
