An eternal question: Can I get a witness?

Have you ever heard a preacher make a statement from the pulpit and finish with, “Can I get a witness?”

There is a song out entitled, “I’ve Witnessed It.” There is a line in the chorus that says, “I have witnessed your faithfulness.” Here is the bridge to that song: “To the broken I’ve witnessed it, to the hurt I’ve witnessed it, to the lost I will witness it, to the hopeless I’ve witnessed it, to my family I’ve witnessed it, to my city I’ve witnessed it to the nation I’ve witnessed it, I promise, I’ll tell them what I’ve witnessed.”
