Annual women's group conference set
MOSCOW - The North Idaho Area Aglow women's group will have its annual conference Sept. 12 at the Best Western University Inn here.
Cost to attend is $20, which includes lunch. Speakers will be Linda Jones, U.S. regional director in the Northwest region, and Kathy Sanders, executive director, Aglow International worldwide leadership development. Both women are from Aglow headquarters in Edmonds, Wash.
Jones began her journey in 1979 with her local Lighthouse and has served the mission in many capacities since, including 11 years as an area president. Sanders was first introduced to Aglow in the early 1980s and joined the team not long after. She has served as the publicity chairperson and also as a secretary to the president.

Guest speaker addresses community investment
Abundant Life Church of Lewiston will have a guest speaker during Sunday's worship service at 9:30 a.m.
Rev. David Brown of the Victory Church in Amarillo, Texas, will be speaking about "Investing in the Community and Saving the Lost." Brown has been the senior pastor at his Texas church since 1983 and has co-pastored with his wife Connie Brown for 35 years.
Missionary team to
share service stories
The First Presbyterian Church of Clarkston's missionary team will speak about their time at the orphanage in Tecate, Mexico, during Sunday's worship service at 10 a.m.
Chris Loseth of Asotin and Carolyn Ashby and Bob Vallandigham, both of Clarkston, will discuss their efforts at Rancho San Juan Bosco with the orphaned boys who live there. The church is located at 1122 Diagonal St.
Southern gospel revival music set for Sunday
Evangelists James and Berneice Gale will be featured at a Southern gospel music, singing and revival meeting at the Lewiston Assembly of God Church Sunday.
The revival services are at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the church, 1033 Burrell Ave. The couple were the pastors of a church in Cadott, Wis., for 17 years before taking their music and message on the road. Jim was blinded as a child in a hunting accident and his story was featured on the program "Unshackled" from Pacific Garden Mission of Chicago.
Hometown revival to
feature food, musicians
POMEROY - The Pataha Flour Mills will present its 12th annual Hometown Revival at 3 p.m. Sunday. The restaurant is about three miles east of Pomeroy.
The event will feature old-time gospel songs, performed by several area musicians. The event will be preceded by the Mill's interdenominational worship service at 8:45 a.m. and a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The music revival will be followed by a covered-dish dinner at about 5 p.m. Reservations for brunch are helpful and can be made by calling (509) 843-3799 or (509) 843-2470.
