Deone Bucannon became the first Washington State football player in six years to make the first unit of the All-Pac-12 team, which was announced Monday.
The senior safety was one of five defensive backs chosen, becoming the first Cougar to make the first team since receiver Brandon Gibson in 2007.
Getting honorable mention for the Cougars were senior center Elliott Bosch, freshman receiver River Cracraft, senior place-kicker Andrew Furney and senior cornerback Damante Horton.
Bucannon led the Pac-12 in tackles with 109, the most by any Cougar since James Darling in 2006. He also made five interceptions, forced three fumbles and recovered two more.
