PULLMAN - Washington State guard Reggie Moore has been named to CollegeInsider.com's Freshman All-America Team, the organization announced this week.
Moore, a Pac-10 All-Freshman Team selection, ranked fifth in the Pac-10 and led all conference freshmen in assists (4.2 apg), fifth overall and first among freshmen in assist/turnover ratio (1.5), 10th overall and first among freshmen in free throw percentage (.794), and 10th overall and second among freshmen in steals (1.4 spg).
Moore started 30 of 31 games for the Cougars, averaging 13.1 points per game.
The CollegeInsider.com Freshmen All-America Team is one squad consisting of 20 players.
WSU sophomore DeAngelo Casto was also named to CollegeInsider.com's Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team.
Casto is the lone Pac-10 player on the 20-man squad and one of just four underclassmen to pick up the honor. Casto led the Pac-10 with 67 blocked shots, ranking fourth in the WSU single-season record book.

Warriors still tops in NAIA
Lewis-Clark State tightened its grip on the top ranking in the NAIA baseball poll, as the Warriors gathered 23 of the 24 first-place votes.
The updated ranking came out Tuesday. L-C, which has won 11 straight games to improve to 28-2, nabbed 684 points. Oklahoma City (30-6) is second with 646 points.
The only other first-place vote went to Southern Poly, which sits at No. 4.
If the Warriors win their next two games, they'll be off to the best start in school history. L-C next plays a doubleheader at Willamette on Saturday.

Cougars' game canceled
PROVO, Utah - Overnight snow, wet field conditions and Washington State's travel plan led to the cancelation of a nonconference baseball game between the Cougars and BYU on Tuesday.
WSU (15-10, 1-2) will open a Pac-10 series at home on Friday at 5:30 p.m. against top-ranked Arizona State.

Idaho's Ditter, Hartz honored
DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference honored Idaho's Paul Ditter and Ulrike Hartz as the WAC men's and women's track and field athletes of the week.
Dittmer, from Hanstedt, Germany, finished fourth in the men's 110 hurdles at the Texas Relays with a time of 13.87, which is the second-fastest time of his career and the fastest by a WAC athlete this year. The race moved him to sixth in the West Region and 10th in the NCAA in the event.
Hartz, from Furth, Germany, took second in the women's "B" section of the javelin throw on Saturday with a toss of 157-4, which improves on her standing of second all-time at Idaho. The throw is the best by a WAC athlete this year and ranks 21st nationally.
Bueno signs with WSU
PULLMAN - Kelsey Bueno, a pole vaulter from Kent, Wash., has signed a letter of intent to attend and compete for Washington State in the fall of 2010, coach Rick Sloan announced Tuesday.
Bueno, a senior at Kent-Meridian High School, is a two-time South Puget Sound League district champion. Last spring, as a junior, Bueno placed second in the Washington state 4A meet with a personal best and school-record height of 11 feet, 9 inches.
This winter, Bueno competed in the WSU Indoor Open and placed second with a pole vault clearance of 11-33/4. She was also participated in the 2010 National Pole Vault Summit in Reno where she vaulted a season-best 11-4.

Sincraugh opts for LCSC
Ashlee Sincraugh, a senior at Sumner High in Washington, has signed a letter-of-intent to run for the Lewis-Clark State cross country team this fall, Warrior coach Mike Collins announced on Tuesday.
Sincraugh is currently ranked No. 10 in Washington in the 200 meters and 11th in the 400 meters. She has competed in races ranging from 200 to 3,200 meters.
As a junior, she finished seventh at state in the 400 and was part of a state qualifying 1,600 relay team.
