SNAKE RIVER JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS - This volleyball club will hold tryouts for its U12 and U14 teams at Sacajawea Junior High on Nov. 19. turkey open golf - The Turkey Open golf tournament at Bryden Canyon Golf Course is scheduled for Nov. 20, with a two-person team format and a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. It includes six holes of scramble, six of best-ball and six of Chapman. city league ball - The Lewiston City Adult League basketball program will accept team registrations until Nov. 22. Fee is $850 per team, with a promise of 15 games, played November through February. For further information contact the office at (208) 746-2313.

BATTLE BASKETBALL JAMBOREE - The registration deadline for the Battle Basketball Jamboree is Nov. 25. The Jamboree will take place on Dec. 3. LCSC Winter skills camp - The Lewis-Clark State baseball winter skills camp will take place Nov. 26-27. For children 12 and under, the camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and for those 13 and over, it will be 1-4 p.m. The camp will provide hitting and fielding instruction from Warrior players and assistant coaches Allen Balmer and Justin Fuller. Dates for the session in December are to be determined, and they will start at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. Groups are small and space is limited. SANTA RUN - The Seaport Striders 5K Santa Run will take place on Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. The event will begin at Swallows Park picnic shelter. Prizes will be awarded for top costumes. For more details as well as an entry form, visit www.seaportstriders.com.

Tennis lessons - The final day for Lewis-Clark State Tennis Center tennis lessons is Dec. 8. Lessons are from 5 to 6 p.m. on Mondays for juniors and beginners, Tuesdays for adults, Wednesdays for high-school varsity players and Thursdays for JV and intermediate juniors.
