CHRISTMAS GOOSE GOLF TOURNAMENT - Bryden Canyon is holding a golf tournament Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17. Participants can play either day, and can sign up for a one-person scramble or a group of three in 'pick your pairings.' Entry fee is $25 and tee time starts at 9 a.m. A meal will be provided at the completion of play. BATTLE basketball Tournament - Battle Basketball will hold a three-day tournament for area AAU teams on Jan. 5-7, though the last deadline to register is Dec. 30. That's the late deadline, which costs $225 to enter. Those who enter by Dec. 27 can save $25 off the price. The tournament, which will happen in gyms throughout the Lewis-Clark valley, is open to boys and girls in fourth through eighth grades.
