LEWISTON-Clarkston MS walk - The 11th annual Multiple Sclerosis walk fundraiser will be at 10 a.m. April 10, starting and finishing at Clarkston's Swallows Park. Route choices are 1, 2 or 6 miles. Walking volunteers will raise money for MS research projects and client programs. Snacks will be provided for participants.

LCSC DOLLAR AUCTION FUNDRAISER - The Lewis-Clark State College men's basketball team will hold its annual Dollar Auction fundraiser April 10 at the Lewiston Roundup Grounds' Ketch Pen. The event begins with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the dollar auction at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 per person, which includes dinner and free beer/wine/soft drinks. Tickets can be purchased in the office area on the main level of the Activity Center or by calling (208) 792-2865.

LCSC 'look who's playing' - The Health & Kinesiology Program at Lewis-Clark State is sponsoring "Look Who's Playing" as part of its National Girls & Women in Sports Day on April 10 at 8-11:30 a.m. at the LCSC Activity Center. The event features sports clinics for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade, and all participants will receive a T-shirt. The event has a $15 registration fee that can be paid in advance or on the morning of April 10. Family rates are available and checks should be made out to the LCSC Education Division Health & Kinesiology Program. Scholarships also are available. FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINIC - Girls aged 8-12 are welcome to participate in a fastpitch softball clinic April 11 at the airport softball fields from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $20, and registration is on the same day from 1 to 1:30 p.m.. COMETS TRACK CLUB MEETING - The Comets Track Club, for those aged 5 through masters in Whitman and Latah counties, has set a meeting for April 12 at the Pullman High track. SNAKE RIVER TRIATHLON - This triathlon begins April 16 with a 500-yard swim at the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center, followed by a 12-mile bike and 2-mile run on April 17 at Hells Gate State Park. DOGWOOD DUNK 3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - The Lewis-Clark State Dogwood Dunk basketball tournament will be held April 17, starting at 9 a.m. Check-in and late registration will run from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. The entry fee is $65 per team if registered by April 10, and $75 if registered after that date. There are youth brackets for grades 5-12 and adult brackets. AKEY GOLF TOURNAMENT - The Robb Akey Golf Tournament, the year's major fund-raiser for the Latah County Vandal Boosters, is scheduled for April 24 at the University of Idaho Golf Course, offering a six-team scramble format and two sets of shotgun starts. LCSC TENNIS LESSONS - Tennis lessons at the Lewis-Clark State Tennis Center are ongoing until April 30. Beginning juniors and beginning intermediates will meet Mondays; adults will train Tuesdays; high school varsity participants will go Wednesdays; and high school rookies and intermediate juniors will meet on Thursdays. All lessons will run from 5 to 6 p.m. All junior lessons are $5 an hour; adult lessons at $7 an hour. These are drop-in lessons. Racquets and balls will be provided. The registration deadline is Aug. 1. The format will be split between scramble and best-ball play, with teams choosing the format they want to play.
