GRANGEVILLE - Kayla Crosby slapped a single, a double and a triple to lead Grangeville to a 10-4 win over Kamiah on Friday in a Central Idaho League girls' softball game.

Crosby ended with four RBI. Bulldogs pitcher Sam Ferguson tossed a five- hitter, striking out eight and walking three.

Grangeville improved to 5-5 overall and 1-0 in league.

Evan Sapp drove in the winning run with a bunt single in the eighth inning as Potlatch nipped Joseph, Ore., 13-12 to cap a nonleague doubleheader sweep at Clearwater Park in Lewiston.

Jerome Heustis hit a two-run single in the eighth before scoring on Sapp's bunt. The extra inning had been necessitated by Tyler McGreal's run-scoring single in the seventh.

Bryant Andres broke a tie with a grand slam in the sixth for the Loggers (8- 2).

Potlatch took the opener 10-2, with Stephen Sapp pitching an assertive three-hitter with 12 strikeouts.
