Gar-Pal, Asotin siblings rule first day of state track meets

YAKIMA — A trio of siblings from the area finished the first day of the Washington Class 1B/2B state track meet with some hardware Thursday at Eisenhower High School in Yakima.

Kieran Snekvik of Garfield-Palouse won the 1,600 meters with a time of 4 minutes, 38.88 seconds. His brother, Brendan, placed second right behind him in 4:39.90.
