COLTON - One no-hitter is pretty good.

Two are even better.

The Colton Wildcats tossed a pair of no-no's on Friday in a doubleheader against Pomeroy, including a perfect game by Kelsey Moser in the second contest.

"We came out and played our game tonight," Colton coach Brad Nelson said.

Mikayla Nygreen got things started in the first game by striking out seven and walking two while holding the Pirates hitless.

Not to be outdone, Moser struck out 13 batters (out of 15 outs) and never allowed Pomeroy to reach base in the second game as Colton improved to 6-3 on the season.
