The oldest NAIA Series record still on the books occurred in the first game of the first-ever Series tournament. In 1957, Western Illinois pulled off a triple steal against Southwestern Oklahoma, a feat that has not been duplicated in the 1,086 games since.

NUMBERS OF NOTE — This is the 66th NAIA World Series and the 31st held in Lewiston. A total of 1,087 Series games have been played, with 560 in Lewiston. A total of 12,750 runs have been score in Series history, and 1,470 home runs have been hit. There have also been 60 grand slams, and 92 games have ended in “walk-off” fashion.
