Evacuation alerts issued for Pollock and Riggins

A Stage 1 evacuation alert was issued this evening for the U.S. Highway 95 corridor along the Little Salmon and Main Salmon rivers, including the communities of Pollock and Riggins.

The Tepee Springs Fire made a run to the northwest toward Big Hazard and Warm Springs lakes and the headwaters of the Partridge Creek drainage. Under Stage 1, residents are advised to remain alert to the possibility of fire growth and the possible need to evacuate.
