Kendrick falls in state title game

Kendrick fell 31-20 to a formidable Hagerman squad in the 1AD1 state high school football finals at Holt Arena Friday afternoon.

It had been 10 years since Kendrick, 10-2, made it to the state finals.

“I think we should be proud of how far we've come,” Tigers coach Davey Steele said.

Hagerman completed an undefeated season, 12-0.
