GAME 15: Reinhardt 6, Georgia Gwinnett 4

Fifth-seeded Reinhardt secured its status as the last unbeaten team in the Avisa NAIA World Series with a 6-4 victory against second-seeded Georgia Gwinnett.

The Eagles were coming off their record-setting 30-run game Monday and weren't nearly as potent in this outing. But they did break a 2-2 tie in the seventh on Luis Menoza's two-run home run, and plated two more runs in the eighth to go ahead 6-2.

The Grizzlies mounted a threat in the ninth and brought in two runs. But a strikeout and a flyout on consecutive batters ended the game.

Georgia Gwinnett will face Hope International in an elimination game at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, following by Reinhardt against Tennessee Wesleyan at 6:35 p.m.

GAME 14: Tennessee Wesleyan 8, Southeastern 6

Jack Stevens' two-run single in the seventh inning ended up being the difference, as sixth-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan came out on top 8-6 in a back-and-forth game against top-seeded Southeastern on Tuesday evening at Harris Field.

The Bulldogs led 6-2 entering the seventh, but the Fire responded in the top of the inning, pushing across four runs on three hits. The big blow was Gary Lora's two-run single that made it 6-6, but that just set the stage for Tennessee Wesleyan's rally in the bottom of the inning.

The Bulldogs got two hits apiece from four players, including Evan Magill, who also drove in four runs.

GAME 13: Hope International 8, Arizona Christian 1

Hope International opportunistically brought home three runs on one error Tuesday, as the fourth-seeded Royals eliminated ninth-seeded Arizona Christian with an 8-1 win in the Avista NAIA World Series at Harris Field.

Hope International led 3-0 in the fourth when an off-target pickoff throw by the Firestorm allowed all three runners on base to score. That made it 6-0.

Royals pitcher Justin Drury kept Arizona Christian in check, allowing four hits, one walk and one run while striking out three in eight innings.

Today's second game between sixth-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan and top-seeded Southeastern is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
