The Lewiston Police Department's accident investigation team is on the scene of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of Thain Road and Burrell Avenue by Orchards Elementary School.

Lewiston ambulance transported a pedestrian to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center following the incident, which took place at about 5:30 p.m.

Police hope to release additional details by 7:30 p.m.
